Looking fresh and glowing all day long can be quite a task. I mean, it is not easy to battle dirt, pollution and oiliness without looking like one big mess. This is exactly where face mists prove to be super useful, and quite frankly, who does not love them?
They're refreshing, soothing, and deliver benefits to your skin, all while imparting a dewy glow that zaps all the dullness in an instant. Awesome, right? Here’s how you can make your own DIY face mist using ingredients from your kitchen. Take a look…
Cucumber + lemon face mist

You will need:
- 1 medium cucumber, chopped (helps keep oiliness away and diminishes dark spots)
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice (a natural source of vitamin C for even-toned skin)
- 1 mint tea bag (contains salicylic acid for clearing blemishes and induces glow)
- 1/2 cup distilled water
How to:
Step 01: Start by mashing the cucumber in a clean bowl
Step 02: Put it in a paper towel or coffee filter and squeeze out the juice from the cucumber
Step 03: Add freshly squeezed lemon juice to this mixture
Step 04: Steep the mint tea bag in hot water for 5 minutes
Step 05: Remove the tea bag and wait for the tea to cool down
Step 06: Once cool, add the cucumber and lemon juice mixture to the tea.
Your glow-inducing face mist is ready! Transfer this concoction to a clean spray bottle and store in a refrigerator. Shake well before use.
However, if you’re not a DIY lover or find it too time-consuming, you can opt the Lakme Absolute Perfect Radiance Skin Brightening Day Creme for a lit-from-within glow. This cream nourishes and moisturises your skin while leaving it with a radiant glow that lasts all day long.
